Our Safety Statement

Last updated March 18th, 2026
Keeping Frfr real and safe.
Frfr is built for honest, unfiltered conversations about college life. People are going to talk. That's the point.

But there's a line.

We take safety seriously and actively work to keep Frfr a place where people can speak freely without things crossing into harassment, abuse, or harm.

Anonymous, but not unaccountable

Frfr allows anonymous posting, but that doesn't mean anything goes.

All accounts are tied to a verified phone number used to create an account. If someone crosses the line, we can take action quickly.

Content that includes harassment, threats, or illegal activity may be removed, and accounts may be restricted or banned.

Bullying and harassment

We do not tolerate targeted harassment or bullying.
That includes:

  • Repeated attacks on an individual
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Encouraging others to target someone
  • Sharing private or identifying information

Frfr is for sharing experiences and opinions, not tearing people down or putting someone at risk.

Frfr Spill and sharing experiences

Spill is meant for sharing what happened from your perspective.
However:

  • False accusations
  • Targeted attacks
  • Attempts to expose or dox individuals

may be removed.

If someone crosses from "telling your side" into harming someone, it will be taken down.

Reporting and moderation

Every post, user, and comment on Frfr can be reported.
When something is reported:

  1. It is reviewed by our moderation system and team
  2. Content that violates the Community Guidelines is removed
  3. Repeat offenders may lose access to posting or be permanently banned

We take reports seriously and aim to respond quickly.

User control

You're not stuck seeing everything.
Frfr gives you tools to control your experience:

  • Report posts or users
  • Block accounts, even if they are anonymous

If something feels off, you have control over what you engage with.

Mental health and well-being

Frfr is real, it's in the name. Conversations can get intense sometimes.
If something is affecting you:

  • Take a break from the app
  • Talk to someone you trust
  • Don't let anonymous posts define how you feel about yourself

What people say online isn't always the full story.

If you're in a difficult place, consider reaching out to a friend, family member, or a professional.

Illegal and dangerous content

Content that involves the following is not allowed and may be reported:

  • Threats of violence
  • Illegal activity
  • Non-consensual or explicit content
  • Content that puts someone in danger

We will cooperate with law enforcement if required by law.

Our approach

We're not here to filter everything.
Frfr is meant to be real, not fake.

But if something crosses the line, we step in.
